Types of Reborns

Angie Babies™

This is my line of fully reborn dolls. I enjoy creating these babies the most! Each baby is meticulously painted with many layers of color to create realistic skin tones with dimension and life like coloring. Babies are weighted with glass micro beads and premium polly fill for that perfect experience of holding a baby! I choose high quality kits that are often limited edition kits or open edition kits of first quality.

Simply Babies™

This is my line of more affordable reborn dolls. I usually do these at Christmas time. Each baby is painted with several layers of color to create realistic skin tones but not always as detailed as the AngieBabies™ line. Babies are weighted with either glass micro beads and/or plastic polly pellets and premium polly fill. I may choose 2nd quality kits with no noticeable flaws, mix and match head and limbs or open edition sale kits to keep the costs down. Babies usually go home with a simple outfit selection and minimal box opening.

Silicone Babies

Off and on I have ventured into silicone painting and find I am quite good at it as well as I enjoy it. Silicone babies cost a very lot to purchase as blanks in order to make the reborn. These babies must be painted with high quality silicone paints. Each layer of paint takes on average 2-3 hours to cure. When I can afford to purchase the blanks and time permits I will occasionally offer a silicone baby for sale. I have made full body 9-11 inch silicone babies and several cloth body preemie and newborn silicone babies. If you follow my Facebook page, that is the best place to stay up to date with when I am working on one and when it will be offered for sale. Prices vary according to my expenses in making the babies and hours spent to create it.

Dumplins JR™

This is my line of slightly reborn dolls that are suitable for the Junior collector or as comfort therapy dolls.   Reborn dolls are not child safe toys and I do not certify them to be so.  Each parent has to decide if his/her junior collector is mature enough to be responsible enough to handle a Dumplins JR™ doll.  The parent takes total responsibility for the safety of their child, understanding fully that reborn dolls are not regulated or certified as child safe toys.  Each baby is painted in the same quality paints as all my babies to create a baby that is more realistic than a manufactured doll.  Sometimes they are manufactured dolls that have been disassembled, reborn color enhanced and put on a lightly weighted cloth body.  I may weight it with plastic poly pellets or a contained glass beading pack.  The limbs are stuffed with poly fill.  I may also choose 2nd quality kits with no noticeable flaws, mix and match head and limbs or open edition sale kits to keep the costs down. Babies usually go home with a simple outfit selection and minimal box opening.
